Welcome to American Dream High School
American Dream Charter School II (ADCS II) is a new public charter High School opening in Fall 2026 in the Heights, designed to meet the academic, linguistic, and cultural needs of our community.
Washington Heights and Inwood are home to vibrant, bilingual communities, yet families have limited access to dual-language high school options that also provide strong college and career pathways. ADCS II was created to address this gap by offering a rigorous, arts-integrated, Spanish–English dual-language program rooted in equity, access, and community connection.
Our school is built for students who bring rich language backgrounds, cultural knowledge, and lived experiences into the classroom. At ADCS II, these assets are centered and developed as students prepare for college, leadership, and meaningful participation in a diverse world.
What to expect at ADCS II
At ADCS II, we believe student success is built through strong partnerships between students, families, and educators. Families are valued collaborators and are encouraged to stay engaged through regular communication, school events, and student-led conferences.
Students at ADCS II will experience a dual-language, arts-integrated academic program that emphasizes critical thinking, collaboration, and real-world application of skills. Instruction is designed to support English Language Learners and students with diverse learning needs through differentiated instruction and a multi-tiered system of supports.
High expectations, culturally responsive teaching, and a supportive school culture are at the core of our model. As a High School community, ADCS II prepares students not only to graduate with strong credentials, but to navigate college, careers, and leadership opportunities with confidence.
