American Dream Charter School II (ADCS II) is a new public charter High School scheduled to open in Fall 2026 in Washington Heights (Community School District 6).

Our mission is to develop academic excellence in both Spanish and English, preparing students to succeed in college, lead in their communities, and thrive in a diverse, rapidly evolving world.

ADCS II is intentionally designed to serve English Language Learners, bilingual students, and students from immigrant and bicultural households. Our academic model integrates dual-language instruction, arts-based learning, and culturally responsive practices to ensure all students have access to rigorous and meaningful educational opportunities.

ADCS II envisions a school community where bilingualism and biliteracy are recognized as strengths, the arts are integrated into rigorous academic learning, and students graduate with the skills, confidence, and credentials needed to pursue higher education and meaningful career pathways. We strive to cultivate leaders who are intellectually curious, culturally grounded, and prepared to contribute thoughtfully to their communities and the broader world.
